Tarheel Basketball Flashback

I’m more a Carolina fan than a college basketball fan, so tournament interest for me declined seriously this weekend. Best luck to all my friends with their teams and brackets and bets! For me and other Tarheel fans in my same state of mind, here are some photos I shot back in 1995. March 4’s final home game was Carolina’s second game of the season with Duke. The Heels won both that year and ended the season 14 years ago today with a loss to Arkansas in the Final Four. But, March 4 was a better day, winning over Duke 99-86. They finished the season ranked fourth nationally. This was the season of  Krzyzewski’s nervous breakdown.
