Bad Ju-Ju Landmark 2 - Last Words of Hank Williams 

On January 1, 1953, Hank Williams was headed from Knoxville to Ohio for a gig. Late at night, Williams’ driver stopped in Bristol VA for gas and a relief driver. The driver, Charles Carr, asked Hank if he wanted something from the nearby Burger Bar. Williams, likely stuporous from drink and drug, said, “No.” At his next stop for gas, in West Virginia, Carr found that Williams was dead.
