Norfolk Southern R3 Dual Rail Gang

        Positioning New Ribbon Rail 

The R3 Gang is the only unit that replaces two rails simultaneously. Here is a video of the crew that takes the previously dropped ribbon rail and moves it to racks at the center of the track, positioning it to be pushed out by the “Sergeant” that will following a couple of units back. They are seen here working on the line from Chocowinity to Aurora in November 2019.
