In Williamston NC, on the main block of Main Street, there’s a missing building. What’s left is a narrow, grassy vacant lot enclosed by two tall firewalls of adjacent buildings, the second story of its front facade, and open to the back. An enterprising artist and local public school art teacher, Bill Fien, has recruited the location to art adding his visionary paintings to the wabi sari surfaces of the location.
