Rail maintenance-of-way crews bring in some of the strangest equipment you can imagine - and LOTS of it! It reminds me of a circus train. All the rail riding machines are loaded on flat cars with a track running down it. They run up a ramp onto the cars where they are chained down for transport to their next job. R3 Gang was headed to Morganton NC after the recent Chocowinity/Aurora rail replacement. The feature here is that it includes EVERY piece they loaded, but at the cost of being LONG, nearly 40 minutes. Click here to see the finished train rolling out of town on November 21.
