Well, some good came out of Hurricane Dorian. Kitty and I booked for Garner and a little cushion on the storm — and inconvenience for a better night’s sleep. BUT, as luck would have it, a train I had no plan or expectation of seeing came through at just a time I could make the chase CSXT X400-06. The three new fancy-paint locomotives for CSX were on their way north to some fancy party. They hardly slowed as they rolled through Selma and Micro. Thanks to friends, I knew—thanks, guys! Here are all three and their partner in the trip.
