Friday Flower - 19

Our Friday Flower for today is partridge berry. These tiny flower are a low ground cover which will bear red berries later in the season. The paired flowers (.25-.5 inches) combine into a single red berries which ripen later in the summer and early fall. The flowers come in two morphs, short pistils with long stamens or vice versa. Both are seen here.
