Norfolk Southern Heritage Unit - Jersey Central Lines

Norfolk Southern’s black and white “color” scheme can get pretty samey. But, they do have a few special paint jobs. A few years ago, they saluted the railroads absorbed into Norfolk Southern over the years. The Jersey Central Lines commemorative was in the east in July. These photo were taken on the Green Level end of Selma Yard. Jersey Central became part of Norfolk Southern by way of the Conrail acquisition. 1071 is a 2012 EMD SD70ACe.
